In late November, I had to MD a farm house that was built in 1901. It was a good day 10 wheat cents, 1 Indian head and an American Legion token.

It was a fun hunt. Surprised no silver rose to the surface that day. I'd like to go back, but since November the house was sold and there are new owners.

Great finds!! Gotta love those Indian Heads! That token is quite interesting... any more info on that?

Yeah, the soil conditions for this site were really good. I notice if I find copper next to, or under pine trees, they usually come up nice and clean. Probably due to low moisture in the soil, and lack of low surface plants. You can see that one of the wheats had corrosion 'bubbles' on them.
The token was the one that blew me away. I was surprised that it had some gold glint to it. In fact, when I picked it up, I thought it was 'new', because I thought the date was 1988.. not 1938. I didn't see that until I came home and cleaned my finds.
