1st Penny of 2007

Yippee. I guess.

I found my first penny of 2007 with my new detector. The ground is too frozen. I was out there with a chisel and hammer... with a detector that I'm not 100% comfortable pinpointing with yet (so when I was off.. it sucked).

It was good to be out and doing something instead of reading what everyone else is finding.

I'll have more to report soon enough.. but hey it was a "Today's Find".

Very cool... Yeah getting used to new detectors is tough sometimes. I was in Maine last year and brought my Whites out there.. well dummy me.. I forgot the battery pack!! so.. needless to say, no one had one. I borrowed a Bounty Hunter from someone and did find a few things but WOW what a learning curve!. Totally different from my Silver Eagle.. But its good that you got out to detect.. I'm thinkin today is my day although we have 6 inches of snow on the ground .. hmmm maybe not such I good idea LOL
