Thanks, DB. I'll do my best. I am a moderator for a forum that was started by my two friends in England and myself. Ours is two tears old and I remember that it took a little while to get it going. I'll put out the word to my friends that MD and we will see if we can help pick up the pace here.

Yes.. it's a long road. I know there are a ton of metal detecting forums.. and lot that are dead or extremely inactive. I'm hoping that DetectorBase can offer something more to the community.. and initial response has been extremely positive.
