Man....
I got permission to hunt a private lawn. House was built in the twenties and never hunted before. I said to myself.. "this is where the silver will be". Unfortunately, I dug 11 wheat cents (1918 being the oldest), but not a silver coin to be found.
Next day, I went to a construction site, and pulled out a 1940 Wheat. What is with these wheats??? I usually get excited finding wheats, since this tends to mean that the site isn't hunted out.. and the possibility of silver is there.. but lately, I dread seeing these. I need the sweet shine of silver to get me out of this funk.
