Two more old nickels for the year

I keep saying it, but I'm loving how the SE is sniffing out these old nickels. Went to one of my favorite spots yesterday afternoon for about an hour or two and found two keepers

1908 V-Nickel
1938 D Buffalo

They weren't too bad. In my area deep is 8". I'd say the V was about 6" and the Buffalo was about 4"

Look how high the date stands out on that one, I'll bet it has been in the ground a long time. Nice finds.
