Hello
As stated earlier, I recently purchased a Minelab SE. My goal is to not throw away my Whites XLT, but to use it in conjunction. I've seen a lot of users out there running with DFX and SE as their detectors. What is the best way to use these to thoroughly cover an area?
I've seen techniques for sweeping an area quickly with DFX/XLT and then coming back with a slow sweep on interesting areas with the SE.
I mainly coinshoot and relic hunt, and occasionally prospect (I use Fisher Gold Bug II for that though).
My first goal after the thaw is to try to learn this machine.. so hitting old sites that I've scoured with the XLT will by first piece of business. I have a stack of new places, where I want to take both detectors.. but feel I need to understand the SE before that point.
