A few Months ago a friend on another forum let me have a bounty hunter lone star, for my daughter
I had never used a BH so I didn't know what to expect. Well I have to say I'm very impressed. Its very user friendly, light as a feather and terrific when it comes to batteries. My daughter regularly finds coins from 6 to 8 in. As well as a musket ball that was at Least 8 in.
Long story short I would not hesitate to get her another B H.
In my humble opinion. It is a most excellent machine wit which to begin and learn.
I'm considering getting one of the upper level. B H for myself as a back up.
