hi, iv cleaned 1000s of coins, copper, clad using white vinger on copper and vinger and salt on clad. stir often until clean, pour off dirty vinger,rinse in clean water until clear. i dumpt coins on a towell and scrub dry. do not mix copper coins and clad in vinger and salt.
